| The one-day sensitization event in commemoration of the 16 Days of Activism was held at the College of Health Technology in Maiduguri. The event, which was organized in collaboration by CRSD in partnership with 8 other CSOs, ZOA and the European Union, helped in raising awareness about gender-based violence (GBV) and how to report incidences of GBV using the digital toolkit. The campaign reached a number of 54 participants, comprising of mainly students, girls and boys, were educated on GBV, with the theme “tracing the root causes and standing against gender-based violence (GBV)“. The event empowered attendees with practical knowledge of the GBV reporting tool and a commitment to advocate against GBV in their schools, homes and communities.In commemoration of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, the CRSD, in collaboration with 18 other CSOs, ZOA, and the European Union under the Borno State Digital Literacy Working Group, organized a one-day sensitization event at the College of Health Technology in Maiduguri. The event aimed to educate young boys, girls and women pursuing health education about the alarming rise in violence against women and the critical need to address this issue. The focal point of the event was the introduction and demonstration of the GBV reporting tool, designed to empower participants to report instances of violence and seek help. |
