Building Resilient Communities & Sustainable Futures
Community Resilience & Sustainable Development Initiative (CRSD), is a dynamic and impactful non-profit, non-political, non-religious, and non-governmental civil society organisation (CSO) dedicated to promoting social justice, peace, and sustainable development in Nigeria. Established in 2021 and officially incorporated in May 2022, our mission is to promote equality, combat discrimination, and address the root causes of poverty and violence. We believe in the power of collaboration and strive to improve the lives of vulnerable populations through innovative and sustainable development programs.
Our Impact
CRSD’s Projects and Impact
We are driving change in communities across Borno State through peacebuilding, education, and child protection.
Reintegration in Shehuri – Supported by the US Embassy Abuja, we promoted reconciliation by engaging stakeholders, coaching youth, and fostering peace dialogues with community members.
“Gobe Mafi Kyau” (A Better Tomorrow) – With support from CATAI & FRAD Foundation, we enrolled 200 street children into education programs, giving them hope, protection, and resilience against extremist recruitment.
Peace in Bulabulin Ngarannam – In partnership with BOWDI, we reduced tensions between returnees and host communities through dialogue, capacity-building, and youth mentorship.
